When you try to email payslips you receive the following error:
Error No. 10060 : Connection Timed Out
This occurs when the Payroll is trying to connect to the server specified in the Email Settings screen in collsoft, but cannot connect to it
There are a couple of reasons why this might be happening. If you are using a "user specified mail server" and you are getting this error, that would indicate that the details you have entered in the Email Settings screen in collsoft, under the tools menu, are incorrect. You need to check these details are correct and try resending the emails when you are sure the details are correct.
If you are using the Collsoft Mail Server and you are getting this error it is most likely due to a Firewall or Anti-Virus software blocking the out going connection between the payroll and the collsoft mail server. To overcome this you need to add an exception to your firewall/anti-virus software to allow the connection to pass through without being blocked.
