Thesaurus Import - Error 76 Path Not found

Abstract:

Symptoms

User receives Error Number 76 - Path Not Found when they try to import data from Thesaurus 2010 into CollSoft Payroll 2011

Cause

By default CollSoft Payroll will search for Thesaurus data in "c:\program files\thes2010", however some versions of Thesaurus no longer store data in this location, and now use "C:\ThesaurusPayroll2010" to store the relevant data.

Resolution

After receiving this message the user should press the "OK" button on the error message dialog.

Then, on the Thesaurus Import screen change the "Thesaurus Location" from "c:\program files\thes2010" to "c:\ThesaurusPayroll2010" and press the TAB key.

Payroll will then list the Thesaurus Companies that are stored in this location, and the import can proceed as normal.
